Working mechanism

Painkillers are taken to get temporary relief from pain. Pain is a sensation and painkillers, to offer us relief from pain, block or change the ways through which pain sensation can reach the brain. Soma pill has mainly three ingredients; those are Carisoprodol, Aspirin, and Codeine. Among these three, Carisoprodol is the active ingredient. So it plays the main role in offering us pain relief. To do that, Carisoprodol stimulates the neurotransmitters in the central nervous system. Thus, it inhibits the pain sensation from going to the brain. Thus, Soma pill helps us to get relief from pain.

Recreational use of Soma pill

Soma pill has a heavy potential for abuse. Carisoprodol is the active ingredient of this Soma pill and it is a narcotic drug. Narcotic drugs have the heavy potential for abuse which is very dangerous. Narcotic drugs can give a euphoric experience which can lead to an excitement or joy.  These narcotics can affect our both body and brain. By affecting the brain, it can make us sleepy or sedating and we also have to experience vomiting or nausea as its effect on our body.   3. Never make the powder of Soma pill to inhale or never mix it with water to inject into your body
  4. If you are a pregnant woman do not take this painkiller as it may harm your unborn baby
  5. The breastfeeding women also should avoid this painkiller as it may pass to the baby through the breast milk
  6. Don’t take this painkiller if your age is less than 16 years.
  7. The use of Soma pill should be avoided continuously more than 3 weeks.

Tell your doctor before using Soma if you are already using these medicines which are mentioned below,
  • Fluoxetine or fluvoxamine;
  • Rifampin;
  • St. John's wort;
  • Antifungal medicine - ketoconazole, voriconazole;
  • A sedative - diazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam, Valium, Xanax, and others;
  • Seizure medicine - carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine; or
  • Stomach acid reducers - esomeprazole, lansoprazole, omeprazole, pantoprazole, Nexium, Prilosec

Everything has a good and bad side. Soma is no caption. It was made as a painkiller. But, we people use it in an unacceptable way which can be dangerous for us only. So, always try not to abuse Soma pill and take it properly and stay pain-free.
