Inactive: Alginic acid, magnesium stearate, potassium sorbate, starch, and tribasic calcium phosphate

• The patient with porphyria should not take Soma pill

• It should also be avoided by the breastfeeding mom as it may pass to the baby through the breast milk and harm the baby
• If your age is not more than 16 years, Soma pill is not for you

Soma for pregnant women

But it is said that this painkiller should not be used by the pregnant women. It may harm the unborn baby. To determine that if Soma pill harmful for pregnant women, FDA conducted a research. As it cannot be done with human, so FDA did this with animals which they classified as the pregnancy category C. As a result, it was seen no birth defect among the newborn animal babies. But some other problems were seen which are listed below;

• Low fetal weight
• Decreased weight gain after birth
• Decreased survival after birth

It is also notable that this research was done with animals. Animals do not always respond to a medicine in the same way as the human response.  So, for well being of your baby, don’t take this painkiller. If you feel pain, go to the doctor and take medicine according to the advice of the doctor.
