Is there any risk of using Nuvigil?
Smart pills are taken to boost up our active energy. The
first synthetic smart pill was piracetam which came to the market in the 60s.
Then, in 1998, Modafinil came which became the first safe smart pill with the
approval of FDA. In 2007, FDA approved Armodafinil as the upgraded version of
Modafinil. Nuvigil
is the first brand version of Armodafinil. It is a very strong smart pill as
Armodafinil is the active ingredient of this smart pill. Nuvigil shows effect
up to 15 hours. As a smart pill, it helps us to stay active by promoting
wakefulness, boosting up our mood and enhancing our cognitive function. The
ingredients of Nuvigil are as follows;
Serotonin, dopamine, tyrosine hydroxylas, adenosine,
melatonin, melanocortin, orexin-1, orphanin, PACAP or benzodiazepines, or
transporters for GABA, serotonin, norepinephrine, and choline or
phosphodiesterase VI, COMT, GABA transaminase, and galanin

Working mechanism
Smart pills are known for boosting up our active energy.
But, the working energy of the smart pills is not known. According to the
experts, smart pills stimulate the movement of the neurotransmitters to boost
up our activeness. As a smart pill, probably, Nuvigil follows the same
mechanism. The active ingredient of this smart pill is Armodafinil. According
to the experts, the active component of this smart pill increases the quantity
of Dopamine throughout the action of dropping its reuptake into the nerves.
Dopamine is a type of neurotransmitter that helps our brain to enhance mood and
motivation. When one takes this pill, it blocks the neurons and stops the brain
from shutting down. It creates the wake-promoting neurons and helps us to stay
active. By following this working mechanism, Nuvigil helps
us to stay active and alert
Overdose potential
Nuvigil is a very strong smart pill. It is effective up to
15 hours. The prescribed dose for Nuvigil is 150 mg in one day. Exceeding this
amount during this given time period is counted as an overdose of Nuvigil.
There is a wrong notion that smart pill can increase our brain power and
activeness which is totally wrong. Those only help us to stay focus because
nowadays, we have to lose our focus on our goal. Those help us to stay awake,
but they cannot take the place of sound sleep. So, as Nuvigil is a smart pill
while taking it we should be very careful. An overdose of this medicine can
cause various problems like a fast heartbeat, shaking hands, a heavy slow
lethargic feeling, and slight headache, back pain and neck pain, sensitive
joints, tiredness and also it can make one suffer from insomnia.
Nuvigil tolerance is also a serious problem. It should not
be used continuously for long period of time. When one becomes tolerant of a
drug, the drug stop work as per expectation. Same happens with Nuvigil. When
one becomes Nuvigil tolerant, he or she cannot live without the drug. So,
Nuvigil should be taken with doctor’s advice.
In this blog, only the risk of overdose and tolerance are
discussed. There are other risk factors also which we will discuss in future.
Take Nuvigil in the proper way and stay active
