Exercises for office workers in 2020
Office life is not the same for each one of us. We all are
living a different office life with different set of work and functions.
However, no matter what we do and where we work, we all agree to the fact that
office life can be exhausting. The deadlines, meetings, pending tasks,
assignments can drain out all the energy from our body. Also the feeling of
tiredness and dullness is very common in people. This can therefore affect the
way work to a large extent. So, what can be done to boost the energy level in a
person when at work?
There are certain exercises that can be done at work to
boost the energy level of the person. This can be done even sitting at your
desk. So, let us have a look at some exercises that can be done at work to life
a better and active life.
Exercise for work
Doing the exercises mentioned here for 5 to 10 minutes will
help you stay active for a very long time when at work. It is the perfect break
for office tiredness and dullness. Also, doing this exercise can help with
preventing body and back pain that is often seen in people for sitting for too
long at work.
Raising your legs seated-
This is an exercise that will help in affecting both your
legs and abdomen at the same time. When you feeling stressed out or any kind of
pain in the lower back for sitting for too long, doing this exercise can help.
For this you need to strengthen your legs and make it parallel to the floor.
Hold this position for 10 minutes. Repeat it for 10 times every time you feel
tired.
Football feet
For this you need to sit on your chair and keep your leg
flat on the ground. Now keep tapping your feet on the ground. Keep doing this
for about 25 to 30 seconds. You can do this after every 30 minutes or 1 hour.
It is also very effective in increasing your heart rate even without working
out.
Dips on the chair
This too is an exercise that you can do sitting at your
office chair. However, make sure that if you have a chair with wheels, you
change your chair for this exercise. Now scoot up to the fort of the chair and
place your legs out infront of you. Now keep your hands on the either sides of
the hip. Now hold the chair and use your hands to raise your body up from the
chair. And then put it back down. Continue to do this for a few times. This
will help you fight back pain at work and also boost the energy level in the
person.
