Cialis for Getting Over Impotence
Cialis, an oral prescription medication for erectile
dysfunction, is a unique treatment for this health condition in men. Although
similar to other erectile dysfunction medicines, Cialis works in a different
way. This is why most men prefer this ED pill over others. It comes in flexible
dosing formulas which you can take daily or as needed. So, before you buy Cialis, you must have a talk
with your doctor first in order to know your suitable dose.
So, what is Cialis?
Cialis is an oral ED pill that is used in the treatment of
erectile dysfunction in men. This condition is commonly known as Impotence.
Cialis helps in facilitating a firm and lasting erection in those who are
unable to obtain any erection for physical intercourse.
The main ingredient present in this medication is Tadalafil. It is basically a
compound that affects the level of certain substances present in our body. By
altering their actions, this drug can increase the blood flow to the penile
nerve, facilitating an erection.
The approval of Cialis by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration came in the year 2003. Since then, its sales have grown
exponentially over the years. Its immense popularity has grown mostly due to
its ability to facilitate a lasting erection.
What is Cialis made of?
The ingredients in this ED pill is basically classified
into-
Active: Tadalafil
Inactive:
Croscarmellose Sodium, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Hypromellose, Iron
Oxide, Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose,
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Talc, Titanium Dioxide and Triacetin.
How does it function?
Being a PDE5 inhibitor, Cialis can inhibit the production of
an enzyme called PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5) which is mostly found in men
with erectile dysfunction. This enzyme can break down the chemicals called cGMP
(cyclic guanosine monophosphate) essential for relaxing the muscles around the
penile blood vessels.
Along with sexual stimulation that releases nitric oxide,
Cialis can stop the PDE5 enzyme from degrading the cGMP chemicals simply by
binding to these PDE5 enzymes. This allows the cGMP to function properly and
ensure the expansion of muscles around the blood vessels.
The blood can flow freely to the erectile tissue called
corpus cavernosum and an erection can be obtained.
